The band’s first full-length and live album, “Summer, Sweat & Beers”, was released on the 22nd of April 2019.
With this version 3 line-up The Black Creek Band has reached new levels of energy and cohesiveness on stage. Their gig at the Queensport Tavern was on a very hot night so a few “bravey graveys” were needed to kick the night off. After cracking into the first song the band were soaking with sweat and revved up for a big night ahead.
Fortunately they had enough songs recorded on video that the audio could be used to release this live album. Their raw energy was captured in set order so by the time of the encore (the last track) they were in maximum overdrive as was the crowd. The gig was recorded rough and raunchy so you can “hear” the sweat and “taste” the beers!
Along with a blend of modern and classic blues rock tracks, “Summer, Sweat & Beers” features two of the band’s original songs. One of which, Sweet Mary, has been previously unreleased and due to be recorded on their upcoming studio album.
Recorded live at The Queensport Tavern, Hemmant, on Saturday the 23rd of March 2019.
